Me

Throughout the years I’ve been able to learned to just accept life as it is. There are always moments where you want your life to be a certain way, or you just simply wish that your life was more like someone else’s. And let’s not forget the life path that your parents
who have the best intentions
 try to direct you in.
I have
unfortunately
taken all three paths in the search to find myself. I do not like to be told what to do when it comes to how to live my life  but for the majority of it I mindlessly  was programmed to please my parents. After over half a century had passed, I decided that I was DONE following the path that my parents had tried  leading me through. Although I don’t agree with everything that they say or even agree with their way of thinking, they will always be my parents that I have endless love for. I am programmed to please and yes, listen to my parents. This is a power that I believe they will always have over me.
What they could never change was the fact that I loved design. I love it so much I decided
after much arguing with the parentals
the right route to go FOR ME was to get a BA in Apparel Marketing and Design and opted out of the medical field. Basically I’m a firm believer of DIY or I’d like to call it DIM (Do-It-Myself). I am the poster girl for SELF-MOTIVATION and yes, I’m your typical neurotic perfectionista. I pay very close attention to detail and if it’s not PERFECT, it HAS TO BE….or else I will lose my mind and sleep over. Seriously, there is not enough hours in a day for me to be crafty. I could be crafting forever if given the chance.
My recent challenge in life is to find the balance. The balance between having my own family, my constant urge to do DIY-projects and to be able to do what truly makes me happy. I would like to share with everyone what can be made possible if you simply put your mind to it. I guess you can say that I love being a busy-body. Yes, there are times when I want to relax by the window with a cup of coffee and relax when the kids are sleeping but my creativity gets the best of me. There are projects to be done and not a minute to waste. Designing truly soothes the soul….
So let me guide you through my life of DIY. There are no limits in design so let your creativity run wild.
